Hope everyone OK. Major incident at w/end. Filling fridge in garage of top quality Asahi, and all is well. 30 secs later, I'm at the front of the garage which I hear a noise. Turn around and fridge door is slowly swinging open with one bottle of Asahi falling to the ground. It hits the concrete to the right of the front wheel of the Porker, breaks and shatters. Except the top 1/3 of the bottle which, complete with lid, bounces up and straight onto the bonnet of the car. It was such slow motion, I can still hear myself saying ***** f*%! as it happens.

I now have a nice little scratch or five on the bonnet. No dents, but I now think my front end (bonnet and bumper repray) which I was going to do to get rid of the stone chips may have to come sooner. So the point of this note, other than to await copious amounts of sympathy, is to ask if there are any recommendations on respraying shops is the Surrey area you fella's can recommend? And I wanted to spin out my story a bit....

Andy

Noooooooo!!!! At least it was caused by a nice beer - one of my favourites :)

I don't know any spray shops, but thought I would get in early with the serious sympathy. Just keep telling yourself, "I was going to get a respray anyway...I was going to get a respray anyway..."

Andy,

Where in Surrey are you?

I have not used them personally but Brooklands Motor Company in Weybridge specialise in Porsche restorations and they were recommended to me for resprays. Let me know if you want thier number and I can dig it out for you

Sutchy

Thanks - that would be tops. Always believe recommendations are better than a flick through yellow pages. Send it over... (work in Guildford, live in Bramley)

Many thanks

Yep, thanks Freddie. Great advice. You are more than welcome to come and do it for me, then I'll offer you the beer that was broken ;-)

Along with my sympathy Andy all I can advise is that you drink more and thus have less beer in your fridge

Andy

Here is the info you need for the Brookland Motor Company, as I mentioned they mainly deal in restoration projects but might be able to help you out, good luck
