993 'creaky' front window

just a quick update to say my creaky window was fixed by the OPC and now my 996 is squeak-free. (apart from the crisp-wrappers, old cans etc in the back).

opc did it all under warranty.

Alas, I had to to pay the local OPC 70 quid for the privilege of doing mine. Makes all the difference though...

argghhhh.....

the creak has come back, about a month or so after the fix, its not as bad, but definitely there again.

if it gets any worse the car goes back to the OPC - at least it gets a wash there.

I'v been reading on Rennlist that some people use a DIY method of a silicone spray or gel between seal and windscreen which they say solves the problem. Might be worth a search.
