Wiring bluetooth into CDR-30

I have a bluetooth kit to install into my CDR-30, but as it comes the cables are not in the right pins for the CDR-30. I'm not the best with electrics, so have a few questions that I would appreciate some help with!

- Does anyone have the pinout diagram for the CDR-30, I'm struggling to find it?

The kit consists of a Bluetooth device and a microphone for calls.
- I assume the black wire (with gold tab on the end) is ground?
- The thicker red wire is the 12v + (the black cylinder is a fuse!)
- That leaves a thinner red wire, a white and a yellow. They must be L/R and mic, does anyone know which is which, and where the Mic goes? I know L/R go into 2/7 on block C of the quadlock.

It is this kit:

I assume I can use some tap splices to join the + and - to the existing radio connections? And the bluetooth won't stay on and drain the battery?

Thanks!

what you have there doesn't seem to be correct .. its skoda with no mention of Porsche ... but the wiring would be red to terminal 15 which i'm pretty sure the radio doesn't have as its CAN wake up or term 30 which is a battery feed and is permanent , possibly it will be a battery drain .

I'm unsure how this would connect to the radio though .

For this you would need to find an ignition switched on feed from the fuse board and then an earth .

Term 30 .. permanent ignition feed .
Term 15 a feed when the ignition is turned on .
CAN .. Computer Area network .. it's a digital signal to communicate with or wake up control units .

link here might help ..

With possibly this item being what you need ..

I'm just guessing though im afraid .

Yep, the 'Porsche specific' ones are more expensive, but as I understand the item is the same just with the wires going into the 12 pin socket going into different 'holes'. Different brands use different pins/holes for different purposes (e.g. Porsche pin 7 is Left speaker, but on Skoda pin 7 might be right speaker), so it should just be a case of pulling the wires out and putting them into the correct pins/holes. (no idea if I'm using the right words here, sorry to anyone electrical reading this!). And connecting the live/earth.

The second link you provided is a different brands version of the same product- the one I ordered just has a mic as well.

I used this when I made the aux cable, but the wiring diagram image is no longer there

And here is someone else who has also installed a bluetooth kit

I hadn't thought of needing an ignition switched feed when I ordered it.
Re-reading it, he shows that pin 13 on block A is a CAN. So would that mean the power wouldn't be drawn to the radio unit at all until the ignition is on? So it would be fine to join onto the 12v+ with no battery drain?

You Can Not use a Can wire as a feed for anything .. just .... Don't do it :)

Second page of the instructions says run it to the fuse board and connect there .. that is probably what i would do .
