Christ, what have they done to the front end of that new Turbo? Massive gaping gob, what an ugly thing

It reminds me of Jeremy Clarkson driving that Atom. :D

love the 992, the stance on the road is perfect for me
Cant wait for the turbo version and look forward to parking next to it to see the difference.

Having had 2 996 which in my eyes have dated at the front due to the egg shaped lamps, 997,991s and 992s look great and my guess is wont date too much when the 993 comes

Are they reissuing the 993?

Might sell better this time...

:floor:

Maybe worse!

It's too squared off, wide and flattened out. Looks quite bizarre to me, hopefully it's just that angle that the pic was taken :?:

ummmm :eh!:

was expecting a better bumper design -maybe need more pics from a different perspective :camera:

also those wheels....

I'm it's the OP, Just taken Herman to OPC Wilmslow, I'm trying to love the 992, but that fat rear is still ugly :dont know:

Only now (well, last week actually) have I had a proper prod around the 992. Is it just me or does the tactile feel of all of the switches feel extremely cheap compared to the buttons on a 997? Like the leaf switches found in 1980s joysticks and 1990s white goods...? I am not a fan of the electric shaver style gear selector either, but the rest of the interior isn't too bad an update.

Externally it has the same problem as the 991 for me (which in fairness affects most cars these days, likely due to current pedestrian impact standards) in that the way that it is plumped out over the arches makes its growth in dimensions seem even bigger than it actually is.
