Engine mounts done.... and a new porsche windscreen (£1,500) from a pesky rogue stone.
 
So my order is due to lock shortly.... I have had a rethink about the spec and swapped the Burmester for Bose and removed the sunroof. I welcome your thoughts:

At last someone apparently agrees with me on the sunroof ( lack of )
I also struggled not going for the best audio...but to be honest the Bose as I selected in the end is quite good enough for this car ...and the incremental cost just did not feel like value.

otherwise ...VERY pleased with the car ( 4S )

Went for a Carrera 2 in Crayon. Might have gone a bit wild on the extras here, especially after reading what everyone else has optioned but I'm happy :)

Cheers! Very nearly ordered a C2S, but I figured I'd start off with the base car and see how things go. I've not seen the Graphite Blue interior in person, only photos. Hope it works with the Crayon exterior!

I have a build slot in April so I've been told delivery should be around June time?
 
I did the same as you... my last car was my first Porsche and I went for Base Carrera 2, with the blue interior (without seeing one). You'll love it, great car and great interior!

I simply went for a 2S this time as the deal was too good to turn down and they only did the S for the first year.

They turn up pretty quick once built. Within a few weeks. It'll be here in no time at all. Looking forward to seeing the photos!

There's loads of photos of my blue interior in the 991 section of this forum. 'Daily driver" thread...
 
I had a bit of a rethink and slimmed down my options... felt it was a bit daft overspeccing a base carrera. Realised that my minimum spec was pretty much the same as the brand new demonstrator (It had 10 miles on the clock) that my local OPC gave to me over the weekend bar a couple of nice to have options.

So I've gone and bought the demonstrator instead :floor: Get to pick her up next week :D Just need to decide if I want the PPF done to it or not!

Neoto, fantastic spec and great on the demonstrator! Agate is one of my favourite colours, you are going to love it.

Only about 6 more weeks until mine turns up.....!
 
I've only gotta wait until Saturday morning. Not sure I could cope with 6 weeks :eek:

I went for the PPF in the end. Car is with Topaz ATM all arranged through the OPC.
