C2 brake upgrade

At a recent track day, my brakes suffered and started juddering. I overheated them. And yes i did my cool down lap.

I want to upgrade the discs and pads. But I dont want to compromise road use, so a relatively mild upgrade.

Recommendations?

Tricky one, you could just go Pagid yellows but I found they squeal a lot in road use. I've got Big Reds and Textar pads but it's an expensive option.
Cooling ducts are a possibility but will require Turbo S ducts and some tedious work to get the trunking in and a bit of cutting to oil cooler shroud and disc back plates. I've never tracked the 993 but the 944 with 993 front calipers and 928 discs has superb braking, the rears do tend to overheat. The 944 has 968 air deflectors attached to the lower wishbones which provide some cooling without brake ducts.

Sebro Discs & Textar Pads are Porsche/OEM.

Some Pagid Pads and Brake Cooling Ducting should do the trick IMO.

Any links or advice on how to do the ducting?

Textar are, Sebro aren't, but probably the best option

Sebro are the factory option and the best bet.

Sebro are excellent, but not the factory option, factory fit was SHW

A complete fluid renewal, I use https://www.motamec.com/ate-super-b...otorsport-brake-fluid-boiling-point-280c.html

Ive had this in the 993 for many years after I suffered slight fade under extreme braking at the Nurburgring, it performs outstandingly.

If you are pretty handy on the spanners, it takes me about 20mins to change the pads. I use pagid RS29 yellows for trackdays/Nurburgring and the Textars for normal road use.
The RS29s are outstanding, but do squeak when used on the road.

Standard discs/calipers are fine.

You learn something new every day!

Ive got the Sebro/Textar combo and they are an excellent option.
