Porsche CDR 23 radio with sound package and amplifier help

Hello,

Please can i ask if there is a big difference between the Porsche CDR 23 radio, sound package with amplifier (digital) vs BOSE in the 996?

Can i also ask if anyone has upgraded there Porsche CDR 23 radio, sound package with amplifier with a new head unit and speakers?

Main differences are the Bose has a subwoofer and audiopilot which changes the EQ to compensate for speed related cabin noise.

The Bose definitely sounds better, but in truth there is so much cabin noise at speed you won't tell a huge difference.

I have a Kenwood head unit and a new amp in my '03 4S. Works fine and the only annoyance of it not being OE is that it won't work unless the ignition is on.
