ive always liked the idea of adding a bit of easy hp to my 993, so I've been idly watching the myth that was electric turbos ( fans) for a while, but it now seems there are some real kits out there which are simple to fit...

not that cheap... but appear to actually work (4 mins on boost plus recharge from alternator)... YouTube vids seem to show quite impressive results... anybody seen one in the flesh or would dare try it out ?
 
Isn't that a supercharger rather than a turbo?

Better to go for an engine driven one rather than electric? Although I know some modern cars (SQ7?) use an electric supercharger running from a 48v system.
