Condensation in rear lights .. is there a fix ?

They are all LED. What are the last 2 digits of the part #?

There is one normal bulb in them for the reverse lights.

.03/LV at the last digits..

My only 2 pet peeves of owning a 997.2
Non LED reversing bulb
Non LED indicator bulbs at the front :wall:

Update

Hi all,

It took me a while to do this and then also test.. This weekend was a perfect test with dreadful Saturday weather and rain.

I have put a clear silicone bead all around the outer edges of the light units where the coloured section meets the body. The welds look like the could easily fatigue and suffer from capillary action with water ingest as it sits in this channel around the lights.

I masked the edges to get a cleaner line for the silicone as you will see.

Conclusion. it worked! The condensation is MUCH better.. One has none, the other as a little.. I need to see if this is the one that I drilled vent holes into.

Progress!!
