I'm ticketing a little with my 997.1 it's seal gray, having just fitted a tasteful aero spoiler, I intend to have the wheels painted black.
So I'd like to replace the bonnet badge as it's faded a little so I'm trying to decide if I replace with the original! Or with one of the very nice black and silver badges I've seen.

I'm off to Stuttgart next week and hope to find them for sale there!

Can someone advise me of a) how I find out and check what is the correct badge for my 2005 997.1 C2 and B) where is a good place to get these badges from or should I buy from Porsche?

Lee, Porsche only do the one type the gold original one this has changed slightly over the years but always a variant on the same theme . The options for other colours are made in the Far East of varying quality some ok some really nasty. custom hand made using an original and painted to your liking these vary from £140 to £250 but I look at it as one off art . heres an example of some of the custom hand made , and more on this guys FB page , I have brought several from this guy.

I've got a black and silver one on my car... really pleased with it.
Found it on eBay about 6 months ago for £45

Mine is silver but I have black and silver everywhere, centre caps rear badge.... but also have a little splash of red here and there (lower mirrors, behind the grills and obviously brakes)

Those red accent work really well mate , first time I have seen the pic of the door mirrors . :thumb: :thumb:

Oh you've done it now! I didn't know there was such choice! What am I to do?
Looked at the link and the shop in Kent has loads of variants, and not far from me, planning a visit soon?

And yes those red bits are very nice?
