Pics from Inside - Blowing the Cobwebs Off

Great shots Andy...particularly like the one through the screen. And your car on a mere 50,000 odd miles too. Mines three times that now and still proudly wearing it's flag mirrors.

OK, so this doesn't quite fit the criteria of an inside pic but I'm making allowances on account of a decent line-up - IMO! Here we're at the Crinan Hotel on the Scottish west coast. Had a good day today, taking in Oban and the Ardfern marina. Local driving tomorrow and heading home Sunday, via Glasgow. Thankfully it's been dry. The E Type needed a bucket and sponge this morning after overnight rain! No such problems for the 993 C4S or my 964.

Great shot ,
I followed that 993 out of Tesco's in Invernesss and up the A9 heading south last Saturday.......beautiful looking S...I was in the Cayenne .....she looked great hunkering down from sliproad to main A9 ...and the sound is great .....

The plate caught my eye too as my surname is a 'U' ......

I am going to have to scratch this air cooled itch albeit late to the party ......

964 was always my favourite ...still on my radar ....

Terry

Thought I'd finish the story off as now back in Northumberland after a top weekend playing on the west coast. Highlights have been the Hollow Mountain (a Drax hydro-electric power station) and the architecturally amazing St Conan's Kirk - both close together on the shore of Loch Awe.

With a pair of 911s, an E-Type and TR6 we attracted plenty of attention. Scenery...well it was a nice part of Scotland so enough said on that. Roads? For the most part pretty good though very narrow in places with single track and passing places on the menu at one point for around 25 miles. That got tedious by the end but was the only way to get round a flooded (and closed) road to Lochgilped. Oban was a great place to visit - that's where we saw the Harleys.

Finally, after we all went our separate ways the rear window of my friend's 993C4S quite literally exploded! It doesn't seem to have been anything external though he did say the rear de-mister was 'always on'. Could that cause a screen to do this?

So, west coast as a top Porsche destination. Yes!

Terry - I noticed your gleaming Cayenne behind me and your quick flash as you left the A9. Was expecting you to blast pass me at any second.

Great photos MidWansbeck and thanks for posting windscreen shot.
Great mini road trip.
