997.1 C2S

2005 C2S manual in seal gray, coupe.

Bought it in Sep 2015, straight away issues with bore scoring and oil spitting out of exhaust; got full hartech rebuild, dealer paid for bank 2 cylinders and I covered the rest and IMS as engine was open so made sense to do it. I reckon dealer knew before sale but they did sort so can't complain really.

Loved it ever since. Old car but has been great and with a German car specialist friend have been able to sort a lot of the wear and tear, either with his garage or sorting some parts myself (window regs, door seals, variocam and high lift solenoids).

Have enjoyed going more into the car myself (under my friend's guidance). I don't think I will ever drop the engine, but if it can be jacked and accessible I'll give it a go.

Still puts a smile on my face when I drive it and no plans to change.

Prices will harden in the next few years and I only have 86k on the clock but no plans to sell. Just can't see much more value on upgrading vs cost; it would just be a vanity project so would rather keep fixing and enjoying.

2004 Carrera 2 Seal grey, 3.6 Tiptronic, full Hartech rebuild. I've added DSC recently, next up is TopGear manifolds + switchable sports exhaust and then Bilstein B4s all round, along anything worn in the suspension dept.

I have been the proud owner of a 2005 C2S coupe in Atlas Grey for 2-3 weeks. It has had a full engine rebuild with Hartech doing the block work. It has the rare M030 option which replaces PASM with factory Bilstein suspension and a limited slip diff.
