If you find you are topping up your Boxster or cayman then a couple of items that could be the cause .
Both of these are not accessed on a service , unless we happen to see the tell tale signs of a white crusty deposit when looking underneath then we won't spot it .
Basically if you are topping up your coolant now and then , then ask the garage to investigate it .
The covers on both of these cars are not easy to remove with the Boxster being a total pain.
The white stains are antifreeze trying to stop a leak .. it forms a crystalline structure which does indeed stop small leaks .. modern antifreeze is pretty damn good .. its Pink btw .
rad cap leaking on this Cayman .. the arrow if for the valve which i have seen leak on a couple of Boxsters .
