Pics from Inside - Blowing the Cobwebs Off

Yesterday I took my 964 C4 up to the Scottish Borders to see my cousin, taking the Friday off work. He lives near Biggar and to get there is a 2 1/2 hour run each way. I like to try and keep my car running throughout the year, but do minimise over the winter when the roads in Northumberland are salted. The odd run into Newcastle after some rainy weather has washed it away is about the best I can usually manage - good for keeping everything turning though.

Anyway, forecast was good, sun shining as I set out. Got going at about 8.20am. No more than a mile up the road and I'm sitting behind a tractor towing a salt trailer! Not what I was expecting. Soon past though and a clear road up the A68 to the border at Carter Bar (watch the cameras on the Scottish side). I was settling into the drive, full tank, and some decent tunes (had the speakers put back into the rear parcel shelf last year) and got to thinking... we often see pics of our cars from outside set in interesting places - but what about pics from inside the car? Just enough info from the inclusion of part of the dash, a quarter light, or door frame to know where we are and what's important!

Here's a few pics of my Friday day out... and needless to say the car was properly parked at the time!

Anyone else blowing the cobwebs off? Let's see where you've been!

Thanks for posting. I enjoyed a different perspective of our 964's :thumb:
Will be dragging The Red Baron out in the next week or so to prep for its first Trackday of the year :puh:

Where you going Chief?

Always good to get behind the wheel, I haven't driven mine since Sept 2017, hoping to be back on the road come May.

May this year, somewhere in Austria

Here's one I thought was quite cool. Through the window and with a spot of reflection action going on too. Main thing is getting the car out. Off to the west coast of Scotland later this week to join up with a 993 C4S, a Jag of some description and a sporty (that's a relative term) Triumph. Will try to put some travel news up here if anyone's interested...

Love the reflective photo but concerned there are too many of the car being washed/scrubbed/swirled by other people...

Maybe some photos of a 993 C4S will improve your posts.

Great thread idea.

I rather like this pic as my first run out after buying it. Nothing beats a 1,900 test drive :thumb:

That's a pretty decent inaugural run, Zingari! Nice looking hotel too...sets those D90s off rather well.

See you on Thursday Tombri. We'll try not to be late...

Couple of pics from last year, it was late sept if I remember correctly, amazing sunset down here in Poole.

The forward facing picture is looking over the old bridge heading towards Sturmister Marshall from Wimborne,

The side view is going round Holes Bay road in Poole harbour.

The sky was crazy that night, no filters were used. Excuse the bulb out on the tach :)
