Lizard Green

it seems all too easy for accurate colours to be lost as an image passes through whatever processes are required before it appears on in print or on screen...?

This is a pic I took at a recent event, though how accurate the reproduction ..hmm..? Looked OK to me, whadayaafink..?

It's always best to see the cars in the flesh when deciding on a colour. As stated above, camera sensors have very different processing capabilities, then you have image processing software and finally the device you are viewing them through. It all adds up to a rough approximation of what the colour really is, and sometimes it can be way off.

Wow that looks stunning

OMG so many shades of Green.

There is Gelbgrun and RS Green too.

Interesting thinking on Porsche colours.. The stunning Porsche in my pic had a model green lizard sitting on the central consul, thus it seems the owner may be sure his car was Lizard green...?

On the colour theme.... Many years ago I required to repaint my "guards red" 911... No such colour listing for Porsche as guards red... Apparently it was a figment of marketing men and worked so very well in the UK it seems... ? Perhaps a bit like the marketing influence of the nomenclature 911 which carries on and on in the minds of the faithful and those who market much...regardless of the fact that the last 911 was the 3.2 Carrera :?:

Excellent, thanks great site.

Is GTRS Green same as Gelbgrün Green ?

RS Green has more blue. Gelbgrun Green looks much closer to Lizard and has more yellow. Gelbgrun is Yellow-Green in German.
