Changing clutch in a car for the first time in my life

I've just heard that I'll get the car back this week, possibly Wednesday. :Dance-Tap:
That would be a result if that happens. Looking forward to seeing what went wrong.

Pilot error

:hand: I'm sympathetic with the clutch to avoid situations like the above.

Hmmm the old manual gearbox, a trifle old fashioned nowadays

Out of curiosity, what's the expected lifespan of a PDK clutch?

Pleasantly surprised that I got my car back today. Turns on there is a rather large circlip inside the clutch which failed. Fortunately I was able to see the old clutch plate and there was loads of life in it. But as it was apart it makes no sense to put it back together with anything else other than a new kit. Looking at the material left another 30k miles were easily left in it.
OPC Wilmslow have once again pulled out the stops to look after me. I can now head to the F1 knowing that it's all tickety boo and I'm good to go. :thumb:
