I think I'm with you on that .... Cue the exclusivity and price of the "non cupholder" on Ebay and the forums ....
 
well one of the great engineering mysteries of our time has ended with an almost identical cup holder

Apparently the software updates included mainly a security update... and an update that's struggled to get through the wider network.

Think that cup holder will live in the glove box!
 
Do they let you keep the cubby hole insert as well as the cup holder?
 
Eventually! I had to politely ask three times.... they were a little reluctant.
