My 2014 981 Boxster GTS

I just hope that the market takes the same view on my 981 S!

Which I should add has most of the toys in Jontt's GTS but for a lot less ££...

PS - alcantara is over-rated anyway!

Nice car ...... but it ain't no GTS.....

- classic faux pas .....not climate just standard air con
- no PASM
- no GTS bodykit
- no GTS interior
- carbon trim
- no GTS Exhaust mods
- no GTS engine mapping
- I stopped looking after that (BOSE, Full telephone module, etc.....)

THe 981 GTS, simply more than the sum of its parts. I think the market will just widen between none GTS cars, it is a very special package that just hit the nail on the head in those time of increasing legislation / restrictions dictating how a car is propelled.

My fear is that its an experience I simply won't replace and its whey I don't think I could ever actually own a 981 again. 718's are out of the question (unless I can somehow get a Spyder without paying overs) so the search is backwards / older for me

For £15K I think that I could make do....

The Jonttt white BGTS was a bargain for someone but not at the OPC price. Mr Yellow wins hands down...

I concur with what you say.
I'm on the lookout for a gts but not at any price.
That white car, with that mileage seems priced to sell.
I'm marketing my black on black 981s and it's a very similar spec except mine doesn't have the pse but it does have the turbo wheels which I think look best on the 981. (Not too fussed about the pseI as it sounds great without it) similar miles too.

I'm wondering if I should trade up as a px or sell mine, was a while and buy something outright, that way I'm not stuck with the dealership mark up.

Decisions, decisions.

:hand: Ah you are looking at cost of ownership all wrong if you can afford to tie up the capital. I had that very dilemma 2.5 years ago and plumped for the GTS. I was definately the cheapest total cost of ownership of a 981 over that time albeit it just tied up a bit more capital

I think the same principle will apply over the next 5 years, the GTS will simply hold its value better than any S and with the same running costs it will always be the cheapest total cost of ownership :judge:
