I had my transmission and diff oil change done today.

My Indy said to use OPC Oil as he wouldn't want to put any other oil in.

Jeez the oil is expensive at £180 !!!

Thankfully it is only done once every 12 years

The oil isn't expensive, the profit margin is.

True. Porsche Tax

Quick question, does the gearbox oil catwr for the diff or are they seperate??

Cheers

J

Rear diff shared with gearbox, front diff separate.

'07 997 C4S according to the OP's signature.

When I did my tranny oil a couple of years ago, I used the Millers NT fluid. If this brand is good enough for my engine, it should be as good, if not better than the Porsche oil. I've had no issues with my gearbox, including any noises, shifting is smooth and during cold weather periods, it warms up fairly quickly too.
