996.1 ownership thread

I like the route you have taken to delete the rear wiper , looks good :thumbs:
 
Tiny update, whilst I'm waiting on news of my engine troubles.

I had an oem carbon gear shift that was looking a little tired. So I started looking around at other options. Loving the style of those in Singer's I looked at the offerings from Function First. Alas they had none in stock.

I then found these from Car-Bone, homage to the shifter in a 917. Pricey but (IMO) bloody lovely. So order placed and here's it is.



I'll get the leather boot trimmed slightly by Linas over the winter so it fits a little better.
 
Looks good. Nice contrast to the black interior but not too fussy.
