multi-car insurance ?

LV for me as well , I have three cars on the policy :thumb:

I've had my 996 turbo insured on a classic policy for the last 3 years with ClassicLine Insurance, and found them to be very competitive. Policy does not require a no claims history to be earned on this car so I was able to use my no claims on our other cars with a multi car policy with Direct Line.

If you tell them that you are a member of a car club (TIPEC in my case), they apply some kind of discount. Agreed valuation is available for an extra £24.

Not sure if your 997 is too new to qualify for a classic policy, but worth a call to ask.

Been with Admiral for about 9 years........each year they increase the premium but I then get a cheap quote from one of the comparison sites and Admiral always match it.

thought I was on a "winner" with the difference in car tax (997 to 991) but what I saved went on more expensive Insurance :frustrated:

Gap Insurance.........do not buy from the OPC.....Money Savings Expert has some much cheaper alternatives. I saved about £400 :thumb:

I am with Aviva, decent price and service but never had to make a claim.

This year I tried LV and they would not quote for the GT3 and would only offer third party cover for my 993. They did offer a decent price for my 997.2

Well had some joy from Admiral because I took the 911 with them they knocked £200 off my pick up and £100 cheaper for the 911 than my renewal so £330 for the turbo I couldn't add the 924 as it comes up as a classic so will just stick that on a classic policy with one of the specialists.

£230 for the GT3 was cheap Mark I can only assume the turbo is more expsensive because its quicker :)

Got the 924s through performance direct £101 of your pounds sir :thumb:

Just done the same.

LV wouldn't insure the Turbo. Churchill came in at £360.00

Ended up with Churchill and now have 3 cars on the policy.
As an aside I went to insure a third car with 1 yrs no claims, thinking it was going to be 'a lot' I got a really helpful guy at the call centre who got the initial quote of £550 down to £245.
Admiral are good as well but I stuck with Churchy.

It's either that or they know that GT3 owners are all driving gods, hence no risk whatsoever. :D
You know I'm gonna crash mine now.

924 price is good. £100 per year for any car is a bargain these days. :thumb:

Admiral for us; a Mini Cooper S, Toyota RAV4 and the Porsche 997.2 all for a total of £420 with protected no claims bonus. Seems reasonable to me.
Mrs COB and I are in our fifties, no points or recent claims, Portsmouth postcode.
