718 Cayman T thoughts?

I've been looking at the 718 Cayman T (touring) and really like the premise behind it. Anyone have any first hand experience of this particular model? If so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts :thumb:

Some pics.

In it's base format you get circa £10,000.00 worth of driver focused options which is a large saving over a base Cayman and specifying the same bits-and-bobs.

you need to be careful with the spec as it can easily get out of control and into S and GTS prices

Absolutely! Although when I took my 997 in for a service this afternoon I specced one up with the sales chap. He was extremely restrained when advising on the options and it came in at £56,000.00 OTR.

I really like it and am very tempted to sell the 911. They are very pretty cars. They'll also likely be quite rare possibly?

rare, if you get the full bucket seats and 718T interior package

it's possible to spec the at just over £60k with then only the essentials

I just think you need to be careful if you are looking for any 718 too retain value relative to other Porsche's outside of a guaranteed PCP deal :bandit:

Too true.

Ideally I'd buy approved used (and opt for independent finance with a chunky deposit) but alas I'm not sure I'd find the car I want or even if a 'T' is around at the moment (being in essence an enthusiast build - likely to be still being ragged).

Haha, yes I thought that. But it's a no cost option to add it in! I'd definitely go manual over PDK on a T. I'd be tempted to omit the display as it looks pretty darn cool with nowt. I'd still want a USB for my phone (read Google Maps).
