Recommendations for Midlands bodyshop required.

As per the title, I'm looking for a decent independent bodyshop in the Midlands (though happy to travel within a 50 mile radius of Birmingham for the right job) to paint my 996 bonnet and front bumper. I'd prefer not to blend onto the front wings, so really need a company or individual prepared to go the extra mile and use a paint spectrometer (or do test sprayouts and tint as required).
I won't tolerate being told the job will take two weeks, only to find out the car's not been touched for two weeks and the job ends up taking a month or six weeks and gets rushed into the bargain.
The quality needs to be excellent, price needs to be fair, previous Porsche experience beneficial I think. And someone who's easy/pleasant to deal with would be a huge bonus !!

Any guesses as to what I should expect to pay welcomed (bonnet will need to be bare metalled)

Many thanks in advance.

Hi H, :bye:

When I needed some stone chips fixed up on my last car, I asked the advice of the guy who runs Staffordshire Car Care (Gyeon and Xpel agents) who do a lot of very nice cars and had my old 996 turbo mine shine brighter than a new penny.

He recommended PMH Autobodies in Rugeley. the guy who runs is, Paul, is a proper petrolhead (got some crazy Golf he take to the 'Ring) and, by coincidence, he was also a friend of a friend I mountain bike with. Does a great job, better than the local place the OPC use:

Hi Diggs,

Hope you're well ?
Thankyou for that, it's much appreciated. I'm currently in discussion with Shorade in Cannock who I've used before, they're very good, but they're not cheap, and whilst they're supremely professional, they were a bit too "corporate" for my taste the last time I used them.

I'll give Paul a ring and have a chat

I can highly recommend Manhattan Motors in Coventry, ask for Alan. They do a lot of work for the local Porsche specialists so they have good knowledge of the product.

Some of the work can been seen in my post a couple of years ago under targa spring refresh.

Second that, he's done two cars for me, the one I really thought I would need a new wing, but they sorted it. When I went he had quite a few Porsche's in, including number 1 Rhd 911T.
