Having not used the car for a few weeks, the battery had drained sufficiently so that I couldn't start the car. I put it on the charger/optimser overnight and all good
So, I thought I'd install an easy access charge point like on the bike (instead of croc clips on the battery terminals) - see attached pix

(excuse the dirty car and messy garage in the background...)

Are you aware you can also simply plug into the cigarette lighter to charge battery? I cut off an old lighter plug from a no longer used device.

I wasn't sure how effective the ciggie lighter chargers were..... hence, I went for the battery terminal option

Works a treat. Remember, it's very low current. I store my car over the winter and keep it plugged into maintainer this way all winter. In fact, if you buy the Porsche charger, this is how it plugs in.
