Hi guys,

Does anyone know when production of the 964 started in the factory/when the 3.2 stopped being produced?

Production of the 964 started in model year 1989 with the K series. It started with the Carrera 4, which was officially announced in November 1988. Looks like cars started rolling off production in August 1989.

In terms of the 3.2, it looks like the Speedster was the last model to be produced, ending in September 1989.
 
i had an 3.2 89 targa on a G plate
