Black carrera badges

My car - basalt 997.2s has been wearing a chrome 911 boot badge since I purchased it. While I don't dislike I'm itching for a change.

My car has matt black wheels and the usual red calipers so I'm thinking black carrera badge with a red S. Probably not to a lot of peoples taste but I want something different.

Has anyone got any pictures of theirs before I spend the best part of £100 on badges :grin:

Same as mine, rear wiper delete & 911 badge, I like it for the uncluttered look.
 
I kind of went the other way, I like cluttered :D

Only had the car 2 months. They were fitted by the previous owner.

Small 911 looks good with porsche text.


After some googling I found the exact combo I am after shame it doesn't show the whole rear end.

Great, post a pic when they are fitted!
 
The ghosting from the old badge was pretty stubborn, had to use headlight cutting paste in the end.

The measuring and marking is the sort of job I hate, took me ages and still didn't get it 100% but pretty happy with the end result.

Well I think your work paid off rather nicely as it look really good. I think it's because your car is black it works so well. Especially with the red S. :thumb:
