I was clearing out my phone of pictures ..

Just thought id share some images of me trying to track down a running fault .. i scoped the lambda sensors over a 20 min run trying to decide if it was a lambda fault a cat fault or indeed a running fault. ..

i find this stuff fascinating .. it says a lot about a car .. maybe not for all of you but it gives you an idea how long some faults take to find ..

This was just the scope from the drive .. i still had to fix the fault :)

These pictures were for a customer to show the fault .

BTW .. the fault turned out to be a hair line crack around the post cat lambda sensor .. eml light on but no running fault .. fitted a new cat and job done .

Just enough air entering to upset the post cat sensor on 1 bank .

Pictures are of post and 1 of pre cat lambda sensors .

EDIT .. yup i smoke roll ups .. us old gits do that :)
