IMS oil leak + oil cooler leak.

Forgot to mention, I took broken bits to Halfords as they advertise as life time warranty they surprise me positively as I bought set of spanners around 2 years ago I haven't got receipt for it can't find it, Halfords without asking anything give me new tools. NICE :thumb:

As I'm waiting for fuel rails to arrive and some other bits I decide to take it on rust and check all pipes, I'm so happy as it is look like my C4S is not as bad, all pipes looks like nearly new :thumb: so I can move to front now some more bits to do.

Hi guys,

I have lost my drive to work on car, perhaps I will find some motivation next week, I decide to change bolts on coils 3,6 as these are on front and getting rusted badly so 4 new bolts also 1 heat shield with new bolts, on Friday I did some work on engine putting all new stuff on it and moved to heat shields both sides the same "front" bolts rusted badly but was easy to remove "back" bolts looking good both of them snapped :nooo:

Insted of putting engine back to car I just visit Tesco on my way home and supply myslef with 12 pack beer.

Now I don't know what I should do as these are behind mount.

edit

I need to remove front drive shaft, should I convert my car to RWD?

I don't have any heat shields on mine and never have done in my ownership. Never caused any problem and car is now lighter

nice Alex :thumb:

I will do this same way as I can't justified seating with drill for few hours.

You will need to chop up the driveshafts to leave the stub in the uprights. Alternatively, buy a pair of C2 front uprights and use these. You will need new shock absorbers though.

Alex I was more about manufacturing....

I took off front drive of the car I did not decide yet about RWD, I tried to disable velocity joint fail to do so not sure if I will be able to do it looks so tight, cv boots has been done by Porsche in 2017 and cv boot looks like new no damage either "big" clip has not been tightened properly causing grease popping out around hub.

So if I decide to go RWD it is look like I will have to cut these off as MC advise, or I just buy grease and new clips put all back together...... back to 4WD.

some help, Alex could you point me out to gearbox mount please, my engine mounts are dead so my plan is to go with these:
