Removing Carrera S badge

Anyone done this on a dark car? Thinking of removing mine and going badgeless or with just 911. Reason I ask is that when I was prepping my turbo decklid/wing for painting (now removed) the 'turbo' badge imprint was visible, or something had affected the lacquer somehow, can't remember if it was visible before it was rubbed down though :?:

I removed the Targa logo on an arena red 993. There was an 'imprint' there, more of a tint than anything, but it was barely noticeable after a few go's over with ScratchX.

Did this on mine and yes it does leave a mark where it was, but as above you can cut it out with your preferred cutting polish. Feraclé, 3M, Meguiars, Brasso, toothpaste, even T-Cut!

Mine is a silver car, removed the Carerra 4s off the back, bit of T cut and the mark went.
:bye:

Same here - seal grey. No biggie!

Did a black car, no mark, but was only about 6-7 years old at the time

Cheers chaps :thumb: seems like it should be ok with a some polish and a bit of elbow grease

Will give it a go over the weekend
