Hey guys - never even knew this forum existed. Had to sign up as soon as I found it.
Was wondering if someone could help. :?:
I am changing the fuel pump and replacing a few hoses on my 944 (1984 model). Before I do so I want to get all the fuel out - don't want to be working in a puddle of fuel, and can't afford a spillage where I have it stored.
Any recommendations on how to do this easily, safely and efficiently?
PS: it has a full tank - doh! :frustrated:

:welcome:

Hose pipe and some Mouthwash :dont know:

Check ebay for Manual siphon pump. Loads there £2 upwards

Use a pipe clamp on the fuel filter hose (between the tank and filter)
Remove the fuel filter
Place fuel container under hose
Remove pipe clamp
When container is nearly full clamp hose
Rinse and repeat
