New tyres 996 C4S - what are the best ones?

one word, MICHELIN :thumb:

I moved from some 5/6 year old S02A's to Cup 2's and the difference is dramatic even before I have fully bedded them in. This is a 6C4S also.

Drove around at low temperatures in the wet in Jan and were fine, don't worry too much they are 'track tyres' as they seem to have a wide enough operating window for most road conditions.

I went with std sizes of 225/295 but wish I had perhaps upped the front a little.

Am waiting for better weather to really fully experience dry performance but certainly low speed accuracy, response and general feel seem to be really rather good.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - far better in the wet than my previous Pirelli Pzero.

Not possible on standard wheels.

Because it's a 996 or because it's a c4s?

What sizes?

225/40 18
295/30 18
