Credit where credit is due

My C4S came with a folder full of extremely detailed hand written reports covering all repairs and servicing carried out by Autofarm when in the care of the previous owner.

However, the service book was lacking the relevant stamps. although I am not a customer of Autofarm (or affiliated with them whatsoever) they have offered to stamp my book at no cost to me.

I don't live anywhere near this company and so am unlikely to ever use their services but they were still happy to help.

You hear so much bad stuff about specialists so I thought I would post a happy story for a change.

Top job Autofarm!

Good review. They have been around for a long time and have good reputation.

I have no idea what they are like as an Indy per se but judging by the care and attention displayed in the reports, that often run to two pages of A4 with the engineeers name (albeit in doctors prescription style writing!) I am massively impressed.
The detail is immense.

I wish I lived a bit closer as I would without a shadow of doubt entrust my P&J with them, they seem like my kind of people

I suppose I could double up my next service with a bit of a long weekend in Oxfordshire.....not Yorkshire of course but not a bad part of the world 8)

They have a great rep.

They'll probably eat-up most of the weekend budget however,!

Yes I get the impression they do things properly but are not cheap.

My Dad bought a 3.2 Carrera from them in the eighties and they were excellent then. Probably one of the first major Porsche Indies in the U.K. they used to have some amazing stock of cars, in fact I think it was going there that gave me the Porsche 'bug'.

Exciting times ahead at autofarm. They are soon to be moving in to their new home at BOXENGASSE.
