Max is the 12mm spacer hubcentric , also what disks did you use the reason I ask is that I was persuaded to use an unknown brand of Disks and when fitted I had terrible wheel wobble so removed them and returned them brought pagid fitted them and job done no wobble Thumb again a symptom of using nasty made in the Far East rubbish , I am realising that the Far east is very good at making things that look right straight rip off replicas, but do no R&D or Quality control just copy but use inferior materials or less precise machining as the focus is purely on cheap build cost and as such they just dont do the job. nooo nooo

Phil, I have proper TPI 12mm hubcentric magnesium alloy spacers all round, but it's possible that I have dirty hubs or some such, so I'll remove them and try running without to eliminate them as an issue.

I also have Brembo discs: although I might not fit actual Porsche boxed parts, I'll certainly use OEMs like Brembo. The wheel wobble is pretty new, so I'm not sure what's going on. They didn't wobble at the track, and I wasn't being hard on the brakes, as it was pretty wet out there (see above pictures from Alastaro). Maybe there's an issue with the tyre, maybe it's flat spotted, I don't know yet. It's holding pressure. Maybe I've damaged a rim, or put the tracking out (there are plenty of bumps and potholes around here).

Anyway, tomorrow morning I'm at my indy, so we'll pull everything off and have a look around in the light and warmth of a proper garage.

Hope you find the issue tomorrow Max , let us know what it was , it could be tyre or tracking if its been on the track or hit a nasty pothole Thumb

Mini update.

A bit of a mammoth day spent working on the car fitted the full aero kit front and rear with the standard aero kit lip (not cup). The car was not particularly low, but still low enough to scrap on speed bumps so raised up the front 10mm each side and now it clears everything apart from some tricky entry point into petrol stations or steep driveways.

Also fitted on the new wheels, these are very light around 9 and 10 kilos front and rear with Michelin 245 and 305. Did a couple of various fitments with spacers and found I could go as wide as 15mm all around.

The stance is spot on and car looks aggressive and purposeful. It actually finally looks comparable to how it handles.

The trickiest bit of the day was fitting in the momo steering wheel. With zero instructions, I ended up removing everything including clock spring which turned out was not needed. The horn works perfectly which is great and whilst i can reach the indicator stalks, they are not where they used to be courtesy of the dished wheel. But just need some time to calibrate.

I tried fitting a resistor across the air bag connectors however failed at miserably so now i have an airbag light until I figure out what to do with wiring and get the codes cleared.

Time was not on our side and so the CAE shifter did not get fitted. maybe that can go in, in the new year.

All in all, very happy with the car .

I would love to have loads of photos for you mate but the Porsche has had less time spent on it due to another car that needs my attention atm (mk1 mx5 being prepped as a track toy). I am only planning one more mod to the 997 as well but just playing the waiting game for a Fabspeed induction kit to come up at the right price, although I have a spare decklid to cut a hole in for extra breathing already waiting.
