Alarm woes, help!

I have had similar issues in the past with my 996.

I've noticed on my car there are two sources of a 'beep'.

The car horn will beep if something is left open, or if I double click to lock and disable the internal sensors.

But sometimes the alarm siren will beep one or twice when locking, apparently randomly and I have yet to find a reason/documentation for these beeps.

Just wondered which 'Beep' the OP is hearing. Horn or Siren?

i t was both, first the horn then the siren, followed by the siren going off in full effect a few seconds later. All seems to be fine now with the smart charger on after a week of charging i shall plug the siren back in and see if it goes off, results to follow. :thumb:

I think a single beep is something left open (or a sensor thinks its open) and a double beep is a fault in the system?

Yup :thumb:
