Other than this these engines are very robust. Timing can slip depending on what cam fixings are used. RS flywheel and clutch is a nice mod which really livens the car up although its not for everyone, especially if you do lots of town driving.
When comparing quotes, make sure new headstuds are included in the price, it makes a big difference to the bill.
I've had the lower covers off recently when I switched to billet, is the slop through wear noticeable? They'll be coming off again to hopefully nail this one leak and I'd be keen to know what type of tolerance is acceptable.
