If it has been PPF'd that would have been really frustrating. I've considered PPF, take it you are a fan?

If someone hoses down a car / washes off dirt with a hose .. is it actually any different from it being driven in the rain ?
I dont really know about detailing .. sorry .. but it seems the same to me .
Anyways .. to answer your question .. No they should not have washed it .. it was an instruction from you and unlike dont move my seat .. which i have been told before ( i replyed then the customer needs to drive it onto the ramp and off again as im not 6 ft 3 inches ) then its something that is reasonable to follow .
Mistakes happen .. an apology is warrented but im unsure how this effects a detailing and if it needs redoing after being hosed down ..
Logically if a garage damages something then they pay for the repair .. i can only assume this falls into that category in which case they pay damages .

I get the frustration at the lacklustre attitude of the dealership but assuming the above I'd be inclined to not give it anymore of my time.
BChivs said:To be fair to the Op I'd feel the same....some people's standards and principles are different and to some this would be a very small deal, but I'd be pissed off too. I'm slightly OCD with car paintwork and always tell the dealer not to wash....I think the Op has every right to feel the way he does and I would expect better from a main dealer.
