This may have been done to death, but I'm turning into my parents ref not being able to find anything on the internet! So here goes...
- is the "Porsche Approved" battery only available from Porsche? Or is it a standard brand (Bosch/Varta/etc) and model that could be bought from anywhere?
- N-rated tyres...are PS2s the only ones on the list?
Just visited an OPC looking into putting a warranty on my car. All good, car noted as being a decent example. Battery is non-std (quelle surprise ) and a tyre has a nick in it that they reckon would be an MOT fail.
I'll get the tyres sorted regardless of course, but cannot stand Pirelli PZero tyres. Michelin Pilot Super Sports are my go to tyre (now P4S I believe)...but can't seem to confirm if these are N-rated. If one has to be replaced, I'm tempted to bit the bullet and change them all.
I also have a couple of non-standard lower suspension arms which is unfortunate and expensive if I go down the warranty route. Mulling that over.
