Sold for £24,100.

This 993 which I have seen around and in a car park as it lives near me does need some work but is a great way into 993 ownership. Helps pin values for everything else.

Most owners were hoping it was 35+ bags. I'd have bought for 19 as 6k would sort it

Likewise at 19-20k and if I had space I would have pursued it. Maybe a lost opportunity even at 24k.

993s have done their dough. Won't see a rise like that until the gen II 997 becomes a 'sought after classic', at which point, the 996 will follow in it's older brother's (964) footsteps.

Wishful thinking from a 996 owner posting in the 993 forum.

Alex, you're a visionary mate. Get buying a hoard of 997.2's and park them up. 997.2 is a modern classic before it's time. Don't you listen to the naysayers

Yikes Tyinsky, those numbers are scary! Puts me right off buying any old Porsche; have to agree with FZP. Do you regret buying your car or is it all worth it in the end?

Not one bit. The 993 was destined for lengthy ownership, the car above all others that I lusted. That I have taken a hit is just one of those things which in the long run will mean little.

Some of the costs could of been avoided. We all have different levels of expectation, I've no doubt many could of enjoyed the car pretty much as it was when I collected it. Engine issues could of been put off and even then a full rebuild was my choice in pursuit of what's right for me.

Car puts a smile on my face every time I see it. Sometimes I drive over to where it is kept on my way to the shop or something just to look at it. Every journey in it is something I enjoy. I have no complaints or regrets.

Looked good value. What does it make mine worth

Coupe c4: check
Manual: check
Not hpi registered: check
175k: bit high but relatively low owners (5) has had a lot of work done

Thoughts. Anyone got more than 25bags they want to give me?!! :?:

Whats it worth

I saw a couple of 130k milers which had money spent on them this summer which sold in the £33/34k region which I think makes yours worth around £30k!

Hi tyinsky,

Is that a recent photo of your machine? my sig photo is taken in that exact same spot, just up the road from my gaff......great road :drive: :D :D

Nick

Alex I corrected that for you

Possibly. My neighbour has just bagged himself a 991 GT2 RS in anticipation of the rise.
