Sub 25 bags (Unicorn found)

Mine has had at least £45k spent on it since May/June 2016 when I bought it. Perhaps closer to £50k if I could be bothered to add it all up (I don't want to). Sorting out the suspension, getting the A/C to work, little bits of paint, a clutch, servicing, changing the gearbox oil, replacing the speakers, putting in a Porsche Classic Radio Nav, fixing cracked fog lenses, putting ambers back on, that damn reflector at the back that loses its lustre, everything from small stuff like a new set of Porsche mats or that one piece leather gear knob thing to an engine rebuild. That's a car with 60k less on it and a well documented FSH. With the knowledge I have of these cars now I would literately wee my pants if I were to consider buying that one on eBay.
That's just snuffed out any desire for an old school 911

True, shame about the porn star interior

I'm not so sure how genuine that advert is. The car looks identical to a oood member from here. The interior is identical at least and there can`t be many around with that colour combination and centre console. not to mention the door sills and black paint.

Was your mates registered in Germany?

I think someone bottled it when they worked out the numbers. The second bidder withdrew his £25,001 bid :floor:

Makes the 996 even with all their baggage look even better value....(I know, they are just not a 993)

.........and as a German 993 owner once said to me when I told him his car was beautiful - "Yes, but your's is faster".

Yikes Tyinsky, those numbers are scary! Puts me right off buying any old Porsche; have to agree with FZP. Do you regret buying your car or is it all worth it in the end?

My money was on Sponge bidding to use it as a runabout for a few days

That's my car guys, and that's the original advert from 2013!

This was what i responded to, and the rest is history as they say....

It's now reduced to 19 bags as start auction :floor:

Odd how it had a bid @24 which was the last start price. My guess the bidder viewed it and realised he'd be balls deep to restore it and walked away :bye:

More like he read some of the posts on here

Its fair to say it has an interesting MOT history...

I am looking for a donor car for a long nose back date build, so it peaked my interest, given virtually everything will be stripped and rebuilt or replaced, but even with that in mind, its a brave take on.

But amazing value none the less if you compare it with a 964 these days as a project car. so it will find a new home and will once again become some ones pride and joy.

Sold for £24,100.

This 993 which I have seen around and in a car park as it lives near me does need some work but is a great way into 993 ownership. Helps pin values for everything else.

Most owners were hoping it was 35+ bags. I'd have bought for 19 as 6k would sort it
