Got the common rocker cover leak (again) any advice on completing the job?
I thought I’d get my guy to do it as the OPC price was prohibitively expensive.

If its the lower ones it's an easy DIY the top ones require a bit more work. When I did mine I replaced the gaskets and the bolts, all worked out well.

Depends what you mean by easy. The bolts behind the heat shield can be a begger to remove and the clutch vent pipe is worth a cus or two. But well worth the effort in money saved.

Hi Endoman,

I'm lucky that my car has never seen salty or gritted roads and has lived in a hot climate its entire life, so rusty bolts are not an issue with my car Very Happy A squirt of WD40 has always worked for me. No clutch vent pipe as mine's a Tip. Bang on with the money saving Thumb
