Gen 2 not intended as a scare story and is just my Car

Well, a Hartech rebuilt 3.8 is not going to be a bad thing: I look forward to hearing about the build, and the remapping. You may need to spend some time in the north Phil, just to 'supervise'. I'm sure Baz and the team won't mind if you hang out in the 'shop, make some tea and biscuits, and they'll only add a small margin say 5-7% to the bill for your contribution.

:floor: :floor:

aparantly if you ask questions remotly its free , if you watch its plus 10% , if you offer advise its plus 20% , if you watch while offering advice its plus 30% on the build cost . :floor: :floor: :floor:

I have already got the Girls on a diet of bread and dripping for the forseable future , they have been told to look after their clothes as no new clothes until they are 19 currently 12 and 13   pocket money is now subject to Austerity measures at 2 sheckles a month fixed a 1% pa inflationary increase. I have reduced bacon buttie consumption to a mere 5 times a week and have agreed to buy ready made shirts for a while . Xmas will be posponed until July and no one in the family is to age for the next 12 months . So feeling the pinch already

So you'll not be fuelling the Bentley too often either then?

I have set a target to try and get the Bentley up to 13mpg as part of my economy drive , So they can see I am doing my bit to cut costs :floor: :floor: :floor:

So have we got a definitive project plan in place. I need details :food: :food: :food:

So that's why I keep seeing 19 year old girls out in the bars dressed in clothes sized for an 11 year old!

I did wonder who would let them out the house like that... Turns out it's Dad's with project cars :floor: :floor: :floor:

Phil, sorry to hear it seems worse than first appeared, but great that you are seeing all the positives :thumb: :thumb:

Hartech are a fantastic outfit! Having had so many bad experiences with other so called experts and specialists, cars and bikes, I am always cautious about dealing with anyone in the motor trade, but I can honestly say the service from Hartech when they rebuilt my engine was first class, they could not have done any more, which, when you're a bit sick because your P&J is knackered is what you need! Comms were great throughout and Grant spent more than two hours with me when I dropped the car off, taking me through the whole process, the options and an in-depth tour of their facility, which meant a lot to me!

Mine is a Gen1, but since the rebuild the engine seems to get better and better the more it's run in, smoother and stronger! So now, although the cost hurt at the time, I feel it was worth every penny :thumb: :thumb:

The full Cargraphic will sound amazing  :thumb: :thumb:
