2004 Porsche 996 Turbo

PostPosted: Sat Oct 13, 2018 11:57 am    Post subject: Lambda sensor recommendations C4 Reply with quote

I am changing the exhaust on my C4. The old Lsmbda sensors were wotking, but they are going to come out of the old cat in one piece. Any experience of aftermarket sensors of is it best just to go OEM?

I think I used genuine Bosch but just went for the cheapest ones I could find but from a well known parts place to make sure they weren't Chinese copies.

Just had Bosch fitted to mine and no problems.
Got them from Top Gear when I bought my exhaust as they came up as an option when making the purchase can’t remember the exact cost think they were about £85 each.

Thanks for the replies. I'll source some Bosch ones when I'm ready to fit them.

Forgot to say that one of the old sensors was removed just to make absolutely sure the Bosch replacements were the same.

The new Bosch ones looked exactly the same as OEM.

Cheers
Stu.
