Been searching for an answer for this tonight without any joy.
My handbrake lever moves from side to side. Took off the plastic centre cover to take a look today but couldn't fathom how it works? Photos 1 and 2 show the play side to side.
Copper connector for the handbrake warning light is not fastened to anything either. Picture 3 (or it could be one as who knows what order they will appear in)
Whole mechanism has the potential for rattling having had an up close look as it is not securely held in place and can be moved around with my fingers. Also photo 3.
Anyone got any tips or remember an old thread detailing something similar?
Good news is I managed to free some old loose change which was trapped inside.
