Ouch ... Bills bills bills

you could half that bill easily by going to a specialist.

A bosch battery from ECP with on line discount is like £100.

Engine mounts drop .. we advise them and handleing will be a little better when replaced .. you dont have to atm .

front shocks corroded .. yup .. they all are ,, if not leaking and they wont be then leave ... unless OCD .

Rad mount .. its rusty .. unless OCD leave .

Coolant pipe .. cant say but probably a do item .

Corroded solinoids .. yup .. they do .. they still work .. they dont need changeing and no one but people like me will ever see them .

Is this an OPC inspection as it certainly sounds like it.

I would add .. engine worn as not new .. replacement required .. sorry .. its late , im tired and this is a list of Nothing you have been given and it annoys me ... nothing to do with you what so ever .

I really like the cut of your jib

Fair enough young man :)

For me i often get a list of work to do that a customer has been advised and when i start to look im confused as to just why im replaceing the items.

Too see what looked like the same happening to you got me a little annoyed

I actually went to do discs and pads all round on a Car this morning that the customer had been told needed replaceing ..

Front pads had not yet reached the sensor wires but fair enough they wouldnt last another year , rear pads and discs were 50 % worn .. so about 2 - 3 years of life left in them .. sigh .

Exhaust heat shields £1254 :floor:

The turbo heat shields are ~£70 each, can't say for the exhaust ones.

I had the manifold and turbo studs replaced on my turbo recently. Titanium items were just over £200 plus 8 hours labour at my amazing local indy for removal/replacement, and half of them snapped.

So 8 hours at £168 is £1344 plus £200 is £1544 at the OPC and they quoted £670 hence the previous comment to 'bite their hand off'.

All very confusing.
