HBA Strut?

I expect it relates to the headlamp beam adjuster. Perhaps part of the levelling adjustment system.

Thanks

'HBA - Hydraulic brake assist' - I still don't know what that is. I can't see anything called the HBA so far. The 'brake booster' is as close as I've got..

What is the HBA strut gents?

As far as im aware ..

HBA = Headlight Beam Adjustment

Thats what we call the system anyways ..

The strut at a guess is the link rod from the sensor .. there are 2 fitted to your car.

Is this something you have been told thats faulty ?

Image below of a sensor plus rod .

Ah thanks for the reply!

Yes, I'm told it's seized, all I've got to work from is 'front HBA seized'

Just reading another thread and realised I never got to the bottom of this..

When I turn my lights on, the headlight beam moves up and down slightly on both sides as you'd expect. So I'm confussed as to what a 'siezed HBA strut' is :?:

At the risk of repeating myself, it's part of the levelling system. The car needs to get some feedback regarding load.
