Could'nt justify the OEM wide ovals  so went for the Dansk version which are currently on offer, £103 from design911.

Still bigger than the standard 993 tips and fill the curved gap in a much nicer way

fitted last night, 10 minute job! :thumb:

Very nice, look similar to the cargraphics ones I have.

How much are OEM Squovals??, I got some from a member off eBay for a good price but they need a polish up.

Bargain. :thumb:

I had OEM tips on mine before I changed the silencers and started looking around for big ovals. Like you I thought £500 for a pair of OEM big ovals was a step too far and bought some stainless alternatives for less than a third of the price.

Excuse the poor pic from almost 3 years ago...

best part of £500!!

Nicer shiner and bigger tips are always an improvement. IMHO I think a slash cut to match the bumper looks more in keeping with the lines of the car but still a great improvement over standard.

Only recently the Illuminati made clear that even considering anything other than Big Ovals would result in me being tarred & feathered!

Mind you, they are looking for an excuse, in my case! ;-)

you can get the OEM ones through porscheshop from Germany for a lot less than £500.

.....imo opinion when going for bigger tips ....... they must be cut aways ...... straight ones to me just look wrong ....... that's my two cents worth as an ex 993 owner ....... :)

I'm still on the original tips, 23 years old, had them polished back in 2010 and still looking good :D

ATB :)

I just got a set of 'sqaovals' put on mine. Love the look + they follow the lines of the bumper from above too.

Look good Mark and of course the best colour car

Those were on my car when I bought it (or similar) but I changed for the 'cut away' tips to follow the lines of the bumper also around the £100 mark by Dansk..

Cheers,

I like the cutaway but prefer the thicker 'double wall' look of the orginal/Dansk/cargraphic tips.
