Hi guys, just wondering if anyone here has any experience of Jaz Siat Porsche Specialist? In particular their engine rebuilds but any experience of them would be appreciated, it'd be good to get an idea of what sort of reputation (if any?) they have.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Worse is I live about 15 miles away and haven't heard of them! Has it been done by them, or are you looking at them? I can ask my Indy who is nearby if he knows them?

JAZ, used to be based in Wembley but relocated to St Albans about two years ago.
Same outfit?

JAZ at St Albans are one of the site sponsors, I have used them before. Family run business, very decent people. More than happy with the work carried out and the way I was dealt with. Can't comment on their engine rebuilds, no knowledge.

can you say if its because you might use them, or is it because they have rebuilt the car you bought in the past?

I've used Jaz for years on all my Porsche.

Started when they were in Wembley when I was in North London and now use them as I live in St.Albans which is where they relocated.

They relocated as they were next to Wembley stadium and their site was redeveloped.

Steve Winter lives out this way so made sense to move out to a more spacious premise. Steve's well known in Porsche circles and races early Porsche at various events.

I'd recommend them and if you asked on one of the general sections I'm sure you'll get a thumbs up.

+1 from me. They used to look after my C2 964 when they were in Wembley (in fact I sold the 964 to Steve on behalf of a client) and did work on my 996. Good set of lads and always high quality work. Had to stop using them when they moved to 'Snalbans' as too far from me.

They always had some interesting engines being rebuilt when I visited.
