I bought mine in 1983.......... ok 2013........right at the bottom of the valuation curve ie just after Zingari sold his

Might buy another if the mood takes me as a 'project' if it crops up at a very low price. High milers are the best value because nobody will touch them. There's a polar silver (boring grey interior) 140k '94 C2 manual on eBay at 37 large. I reckon it's good value if not more saggy than great Uncle Fester's ball sac. It's too dear for most as miles puts people off - end of. I'd take a punt for mid to late 20s.

Getting rid of Ebola is easier than trying to sell a 993 private for what you think it's worth :hand: If you're never going to sell then that's not a problem :thumb:

YADA YADA YADA YADA ........ yawn

I know of three 'high' mileage 993s (2 x C2 manuals 1 x C4, all coupes) that have sold in th last nine months. Each had great history though and plenty of £ invoices .

Each sold for north of £40K and the lowest mileage one was at 128K miles.

Not one was advertised or sold on the open market. Enthusiast bought, not numpty investors.

Don't judge and value 993s just off adverts you see on the net. The very best ones (low or high mileage) often don't get anywhere near being advertised before being sold.

To true, Zingari has been in self denial mode for 5 years

Jan 2001, 60,000 miles, now 126000 miles.

Bought mine in Glasgow 18-11-2002 with 8700 miles. Now a very poor 38,800. I really should get out more!
Michael

9 years, had 79k miles now on 163k. Can't imagine ever selling it, it is now only doing 1-2k miles a year so will be some while before it reaches 200k.

Fascinated to know how the buy back all came about?

993

Bought the 2S in 2012 and the 4S in 2014.
Back then it was in mid 30-40K.

Did about 12K collectively - sadly both now gone... 4S currently with 911V
Hope the new old lady who bought it enjoys as much as i did!

Very good question. Other than the 964 resto I think a new 991.2 GTS or perhaps a 992 would be a nice option....
