C4S (Gen 2): Black wheel options

Thanks for the watchout Phil.

Not planning on going to larger or wider wheels, or lowering at this stage.

Looking at straight swap with perhaps small spacer.

Going for this look, but in yellow, including the black stone-guards.

Those look like ruger mesh. Lovely wheel for the 997, looks so right.

Going to look great against yellow Mark. :thumb: :thumb:

I saw that Phil and absolutely fell in love with that colour. My car is midnight blue underneath and those wheels really lift a black or dark coloured car. Stunning.

Ah so a plan B for if you ever revert back to midnight nice :thumb: I noticed earlier that my ruger mesh sitting in the garage have Porsche silver crests on the hub caps so I assumed that they must be the caps on AG site that have a shield inset thats been removed and replaced with the Porsche shield unless the Porsche cantre cap just fits anyway :?: :dont know: not sure but a question worth asking the guys your getting them from :thumb: :thumb:

They told me that the Porsche centre caps fit; so now thinking about black with silver logo or black with golden logo....?

Not sure that bronze colour would go with my yellow, but certainly nice with midnight blue.

I think the black and silver shield is more modern looking than the gold shield but as your cars yellow its one of the few colours where the gold might actually work. :thumb:

Powder Coated

The Wheel Specialist did a fine powder coat job on my Spyder Wheels.

Gold crest on the wheels were an option I believe so would go with that if I had a choice. I've got the gold crests on my black wheels and look great IMO.

I was thinking that the Weiss Gold, or a pale gold might work on my Carrara White 997. I'm going to put it on my one-day-maybe-wish-list, along with the carbon backed fixed buckets and stuff that I can't afford (as I need a new set of tyres first).
