Cobalt Blue C2S - anyone know this car?

Thought your sister wanted a speed yellow one mate, Cobalt is a nice colour car has Bose , sports steering wheel , sports seats , manual. missing is PSE, sport chrono, heated seats .

my only obsevation is the sellers add is crap it mentions 17" alloys then 19" alloys it says the interior is stone gray its not its black so based on that lack of time or interest in the add I would want to be sure of things before buying it. :thumb:

Yes I picked up on that after reading the add. Sister is waiting to hear back with additional pictures. Not heard of this garage either...

That garage is the 1st place i was in contact with when i was looking fr my 911.
seemed to be the perfect car till i started probing him regarding the advert and the spec' . seems he just guesses a little bit of it!!
The biggest issue some one on here pointed out was the car had a complete dealer history + 1 that they had carried out.
Why would you spoil a dealer history with one from a non specialist!!

Lovely looking car but id be asking as many questions as possible
 
one deffinate question for the dealer would be it is a 3.8 and not a 3.6 reason I mention that is on the 3.8 the interior trim is galvarno silver on the 3.6 its volcano grey now it looks like galvarno but its very easy to pick up on ebay harder to hide is the 3.6 has black dials the 3.8 has silver/white dials and the pics leave me unsure of the dials colour. the airbox will also say 3.6 or 3.8 but no pics of the engine bay and of course the V5 will state engine size. :thumb: :thumb: personally my monies on the Grigio alloy car out of the two. known service history, dealer knows the car from new :thumb:
 
Thanks guys, I think I will be given the Cabolt blue a miss. Certain things didn't check out and the MoT history shows some rusty issues.
Phill, that's gorgeous. I had seen this for sale and was intrigued! Very rare indeed!
I have found a gem of a 997, in Guards Red with an amazing spec. Viewing the car and hopefuly get a deal done. Still has Porsche warranty too. Owned by a Porsche enthusiast and petrol head.

The guards one does look nice, LSD is very driver focussed so make sure the ride works for you , personally I like the ride sharp and focussed but not everyone does, which is why LSD cars are quite unusual and generally means the original owner was an enthusiast and enjoyed his 911 as a proper drivers car.and as such will have been looked after . :thumb:
 
Totally agree, lovely spec 997 and a great guy! Its what I would want and my sister is happy... she does like the country lane drive and Europe road trip!
LSD, Manual box & PCCB... amazing, set up as a real drivers 911. Let's hope all goes well and hopefully my sister gets a cracking 997 C2S 😊
